Follow what's moving get your feet out the door spring's moving in. Get back on track and follow head, it'll be very soon in time.
Well we got to Buford this morning, my songbirds at my side. And we'll sing our blues together and move on to the next town.
It's a standoff between what we love in life and the troubles that we keep within. Let go of hate, your fear, and your shame they'll do you no good health inside.
All I need right now, is to sit here and rest on my bones. And maybe I wouldn't mind if I had a place to call my own. This sitting here and this waiting is a waste of my precious time. So I think I'll move it on along, where there's better things that I have done.
Now the road is so very long, and my eyes they do grow tired. My thoughts they grow with a passion, but my heart it burns with a desire. If we should ever make it back, or even dare to make it out alive. I hope you remember one thing, not even the purest man can survive.
